The growing publication of historical stereoscopic photographs has called attention to the emergence of varying remediation processes. The article analyses photographs by Marc Ferrez displayed in the exhibition Marc Ferrez: Território e Imagem (2019) and published in its catalog, and in the online collection of the Instituto Moreira Salles. We seek to contribute to a critique of historical photographic objects from a procedural perspective.
